Stroke - Complete Left Homonymous Hemianopsia

Patient initiated NovaVision VRT one year after lesion.

• Patient is 66-year-old male.
• Stroke to right  posterior cerebral artery.
• Lesion occurred: April 1998.
• Resultant complete, left homonymous, hemianopsia.

Subjective improvements after initial therapy:

• Regained ability to read the newspaper and watch television.
• Able to resume handicrafts and household repairs: “I’m tinkering again!”
• Patient states he is exceptionally happy with “the improvement in my life.”
