Patient initiated NovaVision VRT one year after lesion.
- Patient is 66-year-old male.
- Stroke to right posterior cerebral artery.
- Lesion occurred: April 1998.
- Resultant complete, left homonymous, hemianopsia.
Subjective improvements after initial therapy:
- Regained ability to read the newspaper and watch television.
- Able to resume handicrafts and household repairs: “I’m tinkering again!”
- Patient states he is exceptionally happy with “the improvement in my life.”
