November is National Family Caregivers Month

11/01/2006 » NovaVision™, as well as The Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA), National Center on Caregiving, supports National Family Caregivers Month in November.

FCA is a public voice for caregivers created to help them seek solutions to their daily challenges and offers them assistance through education, research, programs, services, and advocacy.

NovaVision™ is proud to support the efforts of FCA and we have included several resources to help caregivers seek information on how to better care for their loved ones.

Handbook on Making Medical Decisions for Someone Else – A guide that discusses ways to prepare for the role of healthcare proxy or agent for a family member or friend, and provides resources to support individuals in this role.

Training Videos for Family Caregivers – Resource directory of organizations and services that are helpful to family caregivers and older adults.
