NovaVision VRT Presented In Front of House Veterans’ Affairs Committee in Washington, D.C.
07/18/2007
NovaVision VRT was presented at a Traumatic Brain injury symposium held by The House Veterans' Affairs Committee on July 18, 2007 in Washington, D.C. Members of the committee discussed quality of care for traumatic brain injury (TBI), which is considered by many to be the main injury of the Iraq war.
Medical doctors, neuro-psychologists, researchers and family members who attended the symposium presented the health care needs of service members returning from war. VRT was mentioned as an effective rehabilitation option to restore vision in TBI survivors with vision loss. The symposium continues the series of roundtable discussions that the Committee will hold throughout the 110th Congress.
