NovaVision™ Names John F. Sasen to Its Board of Directors

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA — NovaVision™, Inc. today named John F. Sasen, Sr. to its board of directors. As a member of NovaVision's board of directors, Mr. Sasen will provide guidance on the continued development of NovaVision™ VRT™ Vision Restoration Therapy™ (VRT ™), the first FDA-cleared, non-invasive medical device to restore vision loss caused by stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI).

"John F. Sasen, Sr. is an accomplished healthcare executive and will be a valuable asset to NovaVision™," said NovaVision™ President and CEO Navroze Mehta. "Since receiving FDA clearance in 2003, NovaVision™ VRT™ has come a long way and is now available at more than 36 centers across the U.S. and around the world. Mr. Sasen is executive vice president and chief marketing officer for PSS World Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select: PSSI) in Jacksonville, Florida, a national distributor of medical supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals to physicians and elder care providers. He has held senior management positions within the company since he joined in 1990. Prior to joining PSS World Medical, he was with a division of Becton Dickinson, a manufacturer of healthcare products, for over 20 years. Mr. Sasen left Becton Dickinson as vice president, sales, marketing and distribution where he directed product development and marketing efforts, technical services, product services and customer service.

In addition to his position at PSS World Medical and role on the NovaVision™ board of directors, Mr. Sasen is also a director of HESKA (NASDAQ: HSKA), a manufacturer of companion animal products serving the veterinarian in practice, is Chairman of the Health Industry Distributors Association ("HIDA") Educational Foundation and is a member of the executive board of HIDA, a non-profit organization that addresses the needs of the healthcare industry.
