
Dr. Romano is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology, the Director of the Cerebrovascular Division at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Director of the Stroke Team at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Originally from México City, he attended medical school at the Universidad Anahuac in México City and completed training in Neurology, with subspecialties in Neuromuscular Diseases and Cerebrovascular Diseases at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Romano has had a long-standing interest in stroke recovery and has participated in research and published on restorative approaches to homonymous hemianopsia.
