Female with Right Posterior and Middle Infarction

Regaining concentration and confidence after VRT

Patient initiated NovaVision VRT January 15, 2003.

• Patient is 54-year-old female.
• Right posterior and middle infarction
• Lesion occurred: August 1999.
• Resultant partial left homonymous hemianopsia.

Subjective improvements after initial ten months of therapy:

• Improved quality of life.
• Patient reports she has the impression that she sees more on her left side as a passenger in an automobile.  She is also able to make out cars coming from ahead.
• She appears more self-confident.
• She shows better concentration.
