Doheny is known as the premier center for patient care, vision research and physician education, and was ranked in the top 10 ophthalmology programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report and Ophthalmology Times. Doheny is also among the top 10 recipients of National Eye Institute grants, which fund 80% of all vision research in the U.S.
The Doheny Eye Institute is an umbrella for eight completely integrated organizations that have created the finest basic research, clinical research, and patient care program.
