Patient initiated NovaVision VRT five years after lesion.

• Patient is 31-year-old female.
• Post-MVA (motor vehicle accident) with intraventricular hemorrhage compressing right parietal lobe.
• Lesion occurred: January 1, 1996.
• Resultant left inferior quadrantanopsia.

Subjective improvements after initial eight months of therapy:

• Able to read without using finger as guide.
• Reports better orientation and adaptation to new environments.
