The following success cases contain visual fields of vision restoration therapy (VRT) patients upon initiation and completion of VRT as well as patients' personal experiences. The testimonials included are approved excerpts received by NovaVision and are on file at NovaVision's corporate office in Boca Raton, Florida.
Each grid that is shown in each individual story is a representation of a patient's central visual field. Black squares indicate a blind area, gray squares indicate areas that are seen some of the time, and white squares indicate seeing areas. After stimulating the border zone, patients may be able to improve vision.
The percentage improvement is a calculation based on the number of stimuli patients saw upon initial examination before therapy compared to the number seen upon final examination. Patient results may vary.
